Early last week it was starting to get pretty hot here. When we went to the store to buy the boys a little kid pool, they were completely sold out of everything... except the lovely eye-sore-red-neck-tarp-colored-giant pools. John tricked me into agreeing to buy it so he gets to do most of the work for it. :-)
So far, we've used the pool a handful of times and it's been a lot of fun. The boys can touch the bottom just fine, but we keep them upright with some water-wings.
The only down side is that it fills up using hose water which takes days to warm up. (Of course, John is working up a way to fix that problem.) James demonstrates how cold it was the first few times:
