To pick up where I left a few months ago:
December 15th
Christmas lights on the house. This year we added a wreath in the big window, lights around the garage doors, and lights on the back deck. We figure if we add a few things every year, by the time we're in our 40's it will be just perfect. ;-)
Friday, Dec 19th, was the youth group Christmas party. A "Neon" Christmas party. Such a fun night!

The next day, I took Nate on a special date to do his Christmas shopping. He bought princess shoes for Bethy, a Plane for James, and a boat paddle for Dad. (Hahah! Sorry, John. Thanks for being a good sport while we pick on you!)
During the Christmas season, Nate really got into wrapping and decorating gifts. He would stay up in the office all morning wrapping gifts and pictures to put under the tree.
Note to self: next year buy more bows. At least 5 per present!
Sunday, the 21st, we celebrated Sheri's birthday and Christmas on Whidbey Island with her family.

A Christmas Eve-Eve trip to Costco:
We also had John's work Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve-Eve at Emory's in Silver Lake. It was really fun to meet all the people John works with and put a face with the name!
Grandma and Grandpa are amazing taking the kids for us so often! The kids love going to "Gramma and Grumpa's" and the boys have become very good at puzzles and games (I think my mom has more patience with kids and games than anyone. Ever. :)
