Catching Up

I've been without my big camera for a couple weeks, and I can't take a non-blurry phone picture to save my life... so I am short on pictures and posts. But we are doing well!

James, Nate and I got to tour the Snohomish Fire Station for a Pre-K field trip. The boys loved seeing the fire trucks and firemen - especially since Nate was a "firetruck" for Halloween.

I didn't get any pictures of Thanksgiving, but we had a fun day eating Thanksgiving lunch with my family and Thanksgiving dinner with our friends Will and Devon and his parents.

John and I have been busy this Fall with youth group stuff too. John has a big group of 10th grade guys and I get to hang out with an amazing group of 9th grade girls.

Flag football day. I was the "referee"  - a very lenient referee - since the kiddos were with us.

Free childcare night at church and a date night with some of my most favorite people - and their men.

Snow!!!

The boys helped decorate Grandma and Grandpa's tree.

The first day of Christmas Countdown Calendar.

I was going through some of our old Christmas photos and found some pictures of little John.

I love quiet, coloring kids and Christmas music. Of course, crazy kids are good too!

The kids got their own tree in the playroom this year. They made foam ornaments and decorated it all by themselves.

A kick-off to our Christmas season is the Step-by-Step dinner at our church. Step-by-Step is a ministry that helps young moms who decide to keep their babies. This Christmas dinner gives them a fun night with their families with games, gifts, crafts, dinner and family pictures. John and I both hosted families and had a fun night with all the craziness!

While we were at the Step by Step dinner, the kids had fun with Grandma and Grandpa. The Marysville Light Parade, new pjs and the pretty little mustache girl.

We spent 2 1/2 days making Christmas cookies. Next year I'll need to revise that plan - but the kids had fun!

We helped set up James' school Christmas Shoppe and needed to leave earlier than we are used to in the morning. The boys surprised me by waking up and getting dressed super early!

This last Friday night, we hosted our 1st Annual Carruthers Christmas Party. It was seriously fun. Between t-shirts, seizures, music, games and fire-breathing..... Phew!  :-/

Saturday, we went to the Ronk family Christmas. I only have 1 blurry picture of the cutie. Hoping some other people got the family pictures!

Yesterday was the first slow and relaxing day we've had in a while.

Target practice-

Someone gave us an elf recently and Beth has taken it over.

Kisses-

Dinner-

And some water-

John says Beth's pig tails make her look like a gremlin.  :-)
