Albuquerque - Day 6

For our last day in Ouray, the guys took the truck up some mountain roads to do a little exploring. John said the roads were ridiculously dangerous and steep, but they made it!

From their pictures, it looks like the views were worth the risk.

While the guys were exploring, the girls went to the Ouray Hot Springs Pool. It is a massive WARM pool, surrounded by the mountains, with divided sections for anything you want to do.

The front section of the pool is only 3 feet deep with lots of steps. The boys joined us when they were done with their drive and they loved it.

We left the pool and headed home just as the rain and thunder came through Ouray.

I had such a fun drive home with the ladies. We watched a beautiful sunset and drove right next to a huge lightening storm for over a half hour. There are a still few songs that take me right back to that car ride whenever I hear them - a sign of a memorable road trip!
